David Proman is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Atlas Grove and its affiliates. He leads the firm's activities across asset-based finance, legal and process-driven investments, special situations, and digital asset infrastructure. David focuses on sourcing, structuring, and operating complex opportunities where value creation is driven by legal, financial, or operational outcomes.
Since co-founding Atlas Grove, David has helped build the firm's integrated investment platform across legal assets, bankruptcy claims, and digital asset opportunities. David has overseen significant asset recovery initiatives, including Atlas Grove's engagements as asset recovery manager for the Celsius and Harvest bankruptcy estates, where the firm manages the recovery and monetization of complex asset pools on behalf of stakeholders. Prior to founding Atlas Grove, David and R Christian Wyatt founded a bitcoin mining business, Global X Digital, and continue to operate its affiliated digital asset management platform, GXD Labs, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas Grove.
Previously, David spent more than a decade at Fir Tree Partners, most recently as Partner, where he led numerous complex transactions and legal-driven investment initiatives, including a multibillion-dollar residential mortgage-backed securities recovery effort. Earlier in his career, he was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Kore Advisors. He has served on the boards of public and private companies and was a founding member of Deer Finance, a litigation finance platform providing capital solutions to plaintiff law firms.
David received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
R Christian Wyatt is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Atlas Grove Partners and its affiliates. He oversees the firm's investment strategy, portfolio construction, and capital allocation across asset-based finance, legal and process-driven investments, special situations, and digital asset-related opportunities. Christian focuses on identifying complex assets and situations where specialized expertise can unlock value through restructuring, recovery, or dislocation.
Since co-founding Atlas Grove, Christian has helped shape and expand the firm's investment platform across legal assets, bankruptcy and restructuring opportunities, and digital asset investments. He has been instrumental in Atlas Grove's involvement in major recovery engagements, including the Celsius and Harvest bankruptcy estates. His experience spans a broad range of asset classes where outcomes are driven by legal proceedings, insolvency processes, and other non-traditional catalysts. Prior to founding Atlas Grove, Christian and David Proman founded a bitcoin mining business, Global X Digital, and continue to operate its affiliated digital asset management platform, GXD Labs, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlas Grove.
Previously, Christian was a Partner and Head of Multi-Strategy Research at Angelo Gordon, where he co-managed multi-strategy portfolios and oversaw credit and arbitrage research across opportunistic investment strategies. Before that, he was a Director at Fir Tree Partners, where he focused on legal- and process-driven investments and played a leading role in significant bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Lehman Brothers. He began his career at Blackstone as a founding member of the firm's Special Situations Investing Group.
Christian holds an A.B. Honors degree in Economics from Harvard College, with Citations in Spanish and Italian, and is a CFA charterholder.
